Wardle House 60 Year Anniversary

Today we celebrate Wardle House's 60th Birthday!

The day began with an assembly in Mary Herring Hall where students delighted fellow students, parents and staff with some outstanding musical performances. It was wonderful to hear from Toorak Collegian, Ms Carolyn Such (TC'69) who reflected on her time at Wardle House and to hear how far our Junior School has come. In the lead up to the Wardle House 60th anniversary celebrations, each junior school student has designed their own 'peg doll' - a competition that was run in Wardle House throughout the 60s and 70s in order for students to earn points for their Houses. This activity is remembered fondly by our Collegians today. Our Collegians toured Wardle House with some of our Year 6 tour guides, then came together to enjoy a special morning tea. Thank you to everyone who made this day such a memorable occasion.
