Choosing the right school for your child’s education is one of the most important decisions you will have to make.

Toorak College is an open entry and non-selective school from three-year-old Kindergarten to Year 12 and is broken into four distinct areas Early Learning, Junior School, Senior School and our Boarding House.

Our main intake years are in the Early Learning Centre three-year-old Kindergarten program, Prep, Year 5 and Year 7. Places are available at all other year levels based
on current enrolments and availability.

Students entering 3-year-old Kindergarten must have turned 3 years-old by 31 January of the nominated year of entry. Students entering Pre-Prep must have turned 4 years-old by 31 January of the nominated year of entry. Students entering Prep must have turned 5 years-old by 31 January of the nominated year of entry.

The enrolment process

Our Head of Enrolments oversees the enrolment procedure, which includes sending you relevant communications, keeping you informed of the process, and meeting you, along with the Principal. She takes a personal interest, not just in welcoming new families to the School, but in following all students through their journey at Toorak College.

Step 1: Contact Enrolments Office for information

Step 2: Take a School tour

Prospective parents and their children will then have the opportunity to meet with our Enrolments team and take a personal tour of the School.

Step 3: Submit an application form

Complete the Enrolment Application Form including payment of a non-refundable application fee of $150.

Step 4: Try us for a day (optional)

Your child has the opportunity to spend the day with their future classmates to experience life at Toorak College. Find out more.

Step 5: Interview process

You will be contacted by the Enrolments Office prior to your child’s commencement and be invited to attend an interview with the Principal and/or Head of School.

Step 6: Place offer and acceptance

After a successful interview and if a place is available, a letter of offer will be sent. Parents have up to ten working days to accept the place, which will be held upon receipt of a non-refundable, non-transferable Endowment Fee of $1400 for the first child and $275 for each subsequent child. This includes membership fee to our alumni association, Toorak Collegians.

Step 7: Orientation

Towards the end of the year and prior to your child’s commencement at Toorak College we will contact you with details regarding transition days, uniform and book lists.

Boarding is available from Years 7 to 12 for girls. Boarding can be full time or weekly, with short stays available if there is availability.
